Join Mig Kimpton in conversation with past RSC Artistic Director Greg Doran as they explore Greg’s Shakespeare passion, the man behind the folio and his life long fasciation of Shakespeare’s work.

Described as ‘one of the supreme Shakespeare directors of our era’ (Financial Times), Greg Doran, was the Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company from 2012 until 2022 and has directed or produced all of Shakespeare’s plays in the First Folio during his illustrious career. Marking the 400th anniversary since its publication, My Shakespeare: A Director’s Journey through the First Folio (Methuen Drama), captures the surprises, joys and agonies of working on these greatest of plays, giving unprecedented access into the craft, life and loves of this exceptional director.

All monies raised will go to the work that the Astor provides for the local community.

The Astor Bar will be open at 6pm and following the conversation (90 minutes) you will be able to meet Greg.
