Prokofiev’s works mark the most important set of 20^th-century solo piano sonatas. Full of colour, pulsating rhythms and rich melodies, each sonata makes its mark. Ukrainian pianist Dinara Klinton’s recent recording of the complete set has received international acclaim, and we are delighted to present the complete works performed in chronological order.

In today’s concert Dinara Klinton performs three mature piano sonatas by Prokofiev. No 7 especially is one of the great virtuoso works of the piano repertoire and a favourite of artists such as Horowitz, Pollini and Lang Lang.
