Singing for Wellbeing
The Astor Community Choir meet every week to share our love of singing. We are a friendly bunch of folk and hold no auditions. You don’t need to be able to read music or have any previous experience in signing. Join us for a free taster session. Run by Professional Therapeutic Arts Practitioners

We are a group of experienced fiction writers who meet together to share our stories and write new ones in a spirit of creativity and constructive criticism. We have produced a number of anthologies and have presented our work at the Deal Music and Arts Festival. Although an established group we are always open to enquiries from invested writers.

At U3A there are a whole host of different and exciting activities to get involved in and enjoy together. We meet at the Astor on the first Wednesday of every month for engaging talks in a social atmosphere.

Our classes, suitable for everyone are purely for fitness and include aerobic and muscle conditioning. Taster sessions are available. Please call before booking a course.

An opportunity to sing pop, gospel and Motown songs without need for any previous singing experience and no auditions. Rock Choir provides up-beat and feel-good singing sessions across the UK for juniors, teenagers and adults.
